Drop-in for Neurodivergent & SEND LGBT+ Families

  • 25 Curzon Street Derby, England, DE1 1LH United Kingdom (map)

We’re hosting a free drop-in for Neurodivergent & SEND LGBT+ Families with the lovely Maryam at Neurohub!

It is a space for parents, carers or relatives of those neurodivergent/SEND (diagnosed or undiagnosed!) aged 0-25 to chat, offload, seek advice and find out about support available to you and your LGBT+ family (whether you are, or the young person is LGBT+).

The questions you bring with you might be related to being out and about, communication and interaction, education, work or play, sleeping, eating, toileting, crisis and behaviour, sensory processing, sexuality, gender identity or expression. You’re also very welcome to simply use the space to connect with others.

This event is a collaboration with Neurohub - based in St. James’s Centre – who support Parent, Carer’s, Children and Adults up to the age of 25 years with Neurodivergent conditions either diagnosed or undiagnosed. You can get in touch with them via neurohub@stjamescentre.org or by 07561 856 320.

No booking needed – just drop in!

🎂 Tea, coffee and cake will be provided 🎂

Any questions, or access needs you want to let us know about, email Sonia at soniat@derbyshirelgbt.org.uk or ring 01332 207 704.
