Our groups are an informal and safe space for LGBT+ family of any shape, size and make up.

Maybe you’re new to the area and want to meet other LGBT+ families? Perhaps you are an LGBT+ parent and want to connect with others on the same journey? Maybe your sibling is LGBT+ and you want to learn more about how to support them? You could be considering fostering or adoption? Any members of any LGBT+ family are welcome to join the group session.

At each family session, we simply connect over coffee, cake and conversation. There are also optional activities for you to get involved in related to the theme of the month. This month, the theme is Crafting, with the focus of the Rainbow Walk happening on the same day after our session. You can expect making of accessories for the walk, crafting grounding objects for sharing, as well as mapping your own rainbow walk.

The groups are lead by qualified, experienced LGBT+ staff that are DBS checked, with active safeguarding procedures to protect attendees. You can meet our Families Worker who is hosting the session on our team page here.
