If you are an LGBT+ person seeking asylum or are a refugee, you might be experiencing feelings of isolation or loneliness. Derbyshire LGBT+ is here to help. We run social groups in Derby and Chesterfield to help you to connect with others that are in a similar situation and know what it feels like to face the various challenges you do. Our groups are friendly and relaxed. We usually chat, play games or do other activities which aim to provide the support that is most needed. You don't need to sign up - just come along! If you decide to come to our groups, there are no expectations: you do not have to speak about your experiences unless you want to and should you wish to speak with us one-to-one, a free and confidential chat can be arranged.
