A space for members of LGBT+ families to chat, offload, get advice and connect with others who are or have been on similar journeys.
You can join in with a question in mind, use the group as a space to share experiences or lend a listening ear to others. Whether the media talk is getting you down, you’re looking for advice on how to support your family member, want to learn more about what language to use when talking about the LGBT+ community, or anything else, you’re welcome to join in.
The groups are lead by qualified, experienced LGBT+ staff and a supporting volunteer who are DBS checked, with active safeguarding procedures to protect attendees. You can meet our Families Worker who is hosting the session here.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is free parking onsite.
